A POLICE RAID REVEALS POSEESION AND SELLING OF ILLEGAL ‘BLUE’VIDEO CLIPS IN A LUCRATIVE BUSINESS WITHIN A COMMUNICATION CENTRE IN A REMOTE AREA OF BALANGODA
A Police raid consequent to a ‘tip’ received, in the ‘Aluth Nuwara’ remote area in Balangoda, has revealed when a spy was deployed that this communication in the pretext of running a normal communication business has been indulged in inserting ‘blue’ video clips to mobile phones. They have had in their possession various types of ‘blue’ clips of Indian, Japanese and English for various types of phones. They have catered this business to mostly school children and charged for inserting these clips at prices ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 250.
At the time the raid was conducted they have had these clips, fed and stored in their computers and in the form of DVD’s and CD’s.
